In October 2009 the Leningrad Cowboy Racing team (based on the legendary finnish rockband Leningrad Cowboys) went to Mexico to attend the legendary La Carrera Panamericana Rally - the hardest race on the planet. Dirk Behlau was hired as the official Team photographer for a three weeks roadtrip with approx 5.000 kilometers through Mexico.

A extraordinary photo book in the tradition of the Leningrad Cowboys with the photos by Dirk Behlau about this trip with the Cowboys will be published in fall 2010. A DVD documentary is also in the making...watch out!
